Last week, Parker officially started crawling! He has been rocking and scooting around for weeks now, but when he finally realized how to move (forwards), he took off! He mostly crawls on hands and knees, but he does have this hysterical crab crawl that he sometimes works out. He has one leg straight forward that bends and pulls and one that stays on his knee. It's pretty funny, so I'll try to get a picture! He is a little busy body now, seeing his toys in a a whole new light but mostly interested in all the things around the house (i.e. vacuum cleaner, garbage can, tupperware, and CORDS). I've said "No" a few times and he doesn't know what to think about that.
ALSO (and more importantly), we have a new baby girl in our family! Katie Aubrey Boykin was born Friday, April 16th, 6lbs, 9oz and 19.5 inches. Robbie, Parker, and I jumped in the car and drove down Friday to get there just in time before the c-section. She came a little over a month early, but is doing really well. She and my sister will hopefully go home tomorrow or Thursday. She is beautiful!
