Christmas at Home

I realize I am a little behind in posting this, but here goes about Christmas at our house...

After several days in Florence with our families, we came back home and had a couple of days of just us. It was great. We had a nice dinner together Sunday night. Menu: Cherry Glazed Pork Tenderloin, Corn Bake (Paula Deen recipe), Fresh Green Bean Bundles (Fresh green beans wrapped in bacon with a red wine vinegar dressing), and homemade chess cake for dessert. Delicious if I do say so myself!
To add to the wonder, we still had several inches of snow on the ground at our house!

Parker had Santa come to his own house on Monday morning. A couple of days late, but still great all the same. Parker's 3 big presents from Santa were: a Little Tykes ride on tractor and cart, a Little Tykes basketball goal, and a tent with tunnel.

Parker's reaction was precious. He was so excited, but all he could do was sit on his little tractor and stare at all the other toys. Seriously, he wouldn't get off his tractor for like 20 minutes! He just kept "driving" up to all his other toys trying to touch them from his seat on the tractor!

Daddy helped teach him how to shoot some hoops...

We also made some time to go outside and enjoy the snow!

Parker was very busy- he did not let the snow stop him. Until of course he ripped off his mittens and played until his hands were frozen! Then he would cry until we warmed up those fingers, and off he would go again...
