Celebrations

Well we always like a good reason to party, and since there are lots of Allen birthdays in January (Karen and Mike) and February (Dianne), we hosted a big celebration time at our house. Karen and David came and spent the weekend with us (really to see their nephew of course), and Mike (aka Papa), Dianne (aka Mimi) and Pawpaw (Dianne's dad) came on Sunday. We missed Chris, Tam, and Peyton! Robbie grilled some mean burgers and made homemade fries. Karen and I made a delicious chocolate chip pie (recipe by Paula Deen and highly recommended for an easy, but yummy and totally fattening dessert treat). We had a great time!
